Gasparelo Goes Ballistic And Sets New WGSA Street Sled World Record!

On Sept 16, 2017, Diego Campos Gasparelo (BRA) debuted a new WGSA class at the 2017 L'Ultime Descente Speed Challenge and absolutely stunned the gravity land speed racing community by laying down head first on his street sled and rocketing down the Canadian hill, posting a jaw dropping speed of 159.29 km/h 98.97 mph!  This would set the bar and the new WGSA record for this class.  These gravity speed machines, with origins in Brazil, are nothing short of incredible.  Gasparelo would prove just that, making seven unbelievable passes in excess of 144.84 km/h  90 mph during the weekend and finish seventh overall in for the 2017 event!  Diego with his incredible downhill performances proved he is the fastest street sled pilot in the world!  The WGSA congratulates this speed merchant on his incredible achievement and WGSA world record!                                          GO FAST
