WGSA Gravity Car Rules & Regulations

Classes for Gravity Car:
1. Limited 200 OW (open wheel with open cockpit)
2. Limited 200 OWC (open wheel with canopy)
3. Limited 200 CW (covered wheel with open cockpit)
4. Limited 200 CWC (covered wheel with canopy)
5. Top Gravity Streamliner
General rules for all gravity cars classes.
1. All gravity cars must be gravity powered only
2. Wheel size. Minimum 4" dia. Maximum 20"
Must have four wheels that contact ground. Limited 200 classes must be configured two wheels front, two wheels rear. Triangle configuration not allowed. Top Gravity Streamliner class any configuration except all wheels inline not allowed.
All wheels must support the weight of car and driver.
3. Tires All gravity car classes must be equipped with inflated tires.
4. Brakes Must be applied to two wheels minimum. (four wheels recommended) Disc or drum brakes only allowed. No scrub brakes or friction brakes to ground allowed. Parachutes allowed in all classes.
5. Roll Bars Must be equipped with a sufficient roll bar to protect driver in the event of rollover.
6. Driver Restraint System A minimum of a 4 point harness is required. Arm restraints recommended.
7. No head first chassis designs.
8. "Lean to Steer" vehicles are NOT eligible to run in any gravity car classes
